Código: OD68Designed for contact pressure tests between artificial teeth simulating restorations. A blade is positioned between the teeth and subsequently tensioned. An adjustable base allows the arch to be positioned and fixed in line with the traction rod.
The purpose of the contact pressure test is to evaluate the distribution and intensity of the force applied between the surfaces in contact, such as in occlusal adjustments, prosthesis adaptation or checking the fit of restorations. This helps to ensure an even distribution of the load, avoiding points of excessive pressure that could cause discomfort or treatment failures.
It can be adapted to any universal testing machine.
