Device used for 90º fracture testing of dental materials. It has two settings on the X and Y axes to make it easier to align the sample with the actuators. 

It can also be used for other tests such as shearing brackets.

Technical features:


  • Manufacturing material: stainless steel and high-strength aluminum
  • Supplied with two actuators, one wedge-shaped and the other with a 2 mm spherical tip
  • Can be used with samples embedded in 20 and 25 mm standards (adapter included)
  • Note: for shear tests on brackets, request the inclusion of the OA45 actuator
