Código: OD149It consists of a platform where the emitter, extractor and collector can be attached in order to carry out studies and tests on the encapsulation of, for example, medications.
The electro spray technique is a microencapsulation technology based on the electrohydrodynamic jetting of two immiscible liquids, which allows precise control with low size variation of the geometry of the core-shell particles it generates, which is of great importance in numerous biomedical and engineering applications, for example drug administration.
Its vertical column accommodates a block containing the emitter and extractor. This block can be moved vertically by increasing or decreasing the distance of the assembly from the collection base.
Technical features:
- The distance from the extractor to the emitter can be adjusted using a micrometer with a precision of 0,01 mm
- Made from anodized aluminum and stainless steel
- Emitter and extractor not included (supplied by the researcher)
